Step 5: Submit Required Documents
Prepare and submit the following:
- Company Registration Certificate
- Manufacturing Unit Details (Factory layout, process flow, etc.)
- Test Report from a BIS-approved lab
- Factory Quality Control Documents
- Authorization Letter (for Indian representatives of foreign manufacturers)
- Declaration of Conformity (DoC)
Note: Foreign manufacturers must appoint an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR).
Step 6: Factory Inspection (For ISI & FMCS Certification)
- BIS officials visit the manufacturing facility to inspect:
